Flow Chart of Minnesota Divorce Proceeding

Flow Chart of Divorce Proceedings Making your way through the judicial system is no easy task for a pro se do-it-yourself litigant.  The attached Flow Chart of Divorce Proceedings is a visual aid to help in understanding the alternative paths of divorce action.   Divorces may follow a settlement track or a litigation (trial) track or a default path if one side has not responded to the summons. Mediation and settlement options are available at any point in the divorce right up the time of the trial.  The flow chart is a generalized visual example of divorce proceeding. The chart is not a substitute for procedural deadlines.  Please feel free to download and copy the Flow Chart if you find it useful.
