Status of the Presumption of Joint Physical Custody Bill In Minnesota

As of last week the status on the bill re: the
presumption of joint physical is as follows:

A bill that would create a presumption of joint physical custody, HF322, was discussed in the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday and Thursday. No action was taken on the bill. Attorney Bruce Kennedy testified on behalf of the Family Law Section, which opposes the bill.

The House Judiciary Committee also laid over HF292, which would require parenting plans or orders except in cases involving domestic violence.
